As you may know, we have been conducting religious services in Euless since 2000. To serve the needs of our growing congregation, a new building was constructed and religious services were started there in December 2017.
The Grand Opening is timed to coincide with the annual celebration of Vaisakhi, which is one of the most revered days in Sikhism. In 1699, the tenth guru (saint) of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, chose Vaisakhi as the occasion to transform the Sikhs into a family of saint soldiers, known as the Khalsa Panth, and gave them their current appearance.
Vaisakhi celebrations at the Euless Gurudwara will include an Akhand Path, from Friday morning to Sunday morning, a Kirtan Diwan, and a special outreach program on Saturday, April 21st.
This program will be in English, from 11 am to 11:30 am, and would include Mayor of Euless, elected officials, Police chief, our community neighbors and interfaith invitees. Please contact us if you need more information.
